About Us

junctiongeneral_headerWelcome to the Junction!

We are a family owned and operated music park and campground! In 2002 we decided to give up our lives as they were to move back home where we grew up in a small town Brownville Jct. In 2002, it all started with a general store and small cafe`. In 2004 we decided that we should build something to bring people to our area, and Big Pine Amphitheater took shape! At first a tractor trailer was the idea to have bands play on, but thinking this could be big we built a big stage.  Since then we have held 100`s of shows from national comedy acts (Bob Marley Maine’s Comedian), (members from Boston)  to great local talent!  Tribute bands is our best idea that started in 2005 starting with a tribute to The Eagles! Wow over 2000 people right out of the gate! That got us excited to keep this idea going, and years later, we are still here! Just imagine camping  out and watch a Live Band, or watch a Drive In Movie, maybe even Nascar, singing Karaoke, or playing a PlayStation game on a 30 foot screen, depending on the night. We try to take advantage of all the good weather, what little we have, so always be looking at our website for updates and changes! We take a lot of pride in our park, and we are here to help you have a great time. From 4 wheeling right from your doorstep, to kayaking/canoeing down the road less than a mile, you will have fun here! You can camp in the middle of the field and form groups, our have a personal sight in our back 40! We are primitive for now, but we do have water stations available, and dump station for the big rigs! Bring your own food, or let us serve you! Concessions open at 5 pm Friday, and Saturday night from doughboys, to cornbread, and hand cut french fries! You never know what we are serving at the food shack! Make your way to The Junction this summer and see what all the talk is about! Although the store and cafe is no longer a part of The Junction, we still serve great food during the shows!  Don`t forget your pets! just keep them leashed,  and keep in mind fireworks!!!!
